Filter by user choice

Hello all,

I would like to filter my form by allowing the user to click on:

a drop-down menu

or

a selection group

For example, if the underlying table was cars for example, i would like the user to be able to choose cars by colour.

If it was a pull-down menu, the pull-down would be based on a query that shows all the unique colours. After choosing the colour to filter on, the user would select a button to trigger the filter.

Using a selection group (my preferred choice), the user would select 1 colour and then click on a button to trigger the filter.

It would be great if someone could help with this one!

I think you haven't gotten a response because your question is too broad.

You can do a search on this forum for "cascading combos" and will find many
posts that will help you.

Failing that, you can post your db here, with a specific search question
(search by color) and I'm sure people will help.

If it's too broad of a topic, you'll get no response. You won't find too many
people who will write your app for you.
