Filtering a query from a Form

I have built a Form that was originally a Split Form and added a combo filter that uses a Filter button to activate the Filter. I could not get it to filter the Datasheet part of the split form, so I changed to a single and added a subfrorm. The Subform will filter as desired. Now, I need the subform to be linked to the form as if it were a split form, or come up with a way to filter the record source from which the split source is derived. Does anyone have any advice?

With a little rest over the weekend and a lot of help from dataking and his post I have successfully created a subform that emulates a Split Form and is able to be filtered as desired. Thanks, Chris
