Folder View Question

I have a contact database and want to display a folder full of documents that relate to each contact. I am new to access but I will try to explain what I am trying to do =] I would have a form with tabs; one tab will be tilted documents. In that tab there would be an object window and it would display a folder and all of its contents (e.g. files and other folders). But when you go to the next contact the windows contents change to display the new contact. And that value would change each time I go to a different contact. Example would be, if I am on Dr. John Smith’s record, the window would display the folder C:\Smith, but when I go to the next record Dr. Frank Lee, the window would display C:\Lee. Is this possible? Any and all help is welcome. I know it must bee because there is an Active X control which you can buy that does the same thing...but if you can do it yourself, why give someone else the $$.....Thanks for you help.

It's easy to do BUT only if you know what your doing (sorry but thats the truth)

I haven't used that exact method but download my Time and billing system which uses another method to list files or mail for a client.

One Afterthought is I just thought of the reason I didn't go for that method and that is the time it can take to generate a list of files ESP if a client has a large number of files in there folder(s)
