I'm a new access 2010 user, and newcomer in this board too.. And, i'm hoping to find solution to my problems here !!
Problem 1:
I'm trying to create a Banks form with subform of transactions.. so that when i change the Bank name and period in the main form the subform will only show the data of those two entries.. WITHOUT changing the Table data !!
But what happens in my Sample is.. [Please follow the following steps to discover the error]:
1) I select Bank Name "Suez Canal" and Starting Date from 1/1/2015 To Ending Date 31/1/2015
2) Activate the USD-Statements Tab in the Subform and Click on the 1st Record.
3) Then select Bank Name "National Bank of Egypt" with same period as before
4) And Click in the 1st record in the USD-Statements Tab
5) On returning back to Bank Name "Suez Canal", i don't find the 1st record of it...!!
6) If i check the Payments Table, i'll find that the Bank Name has been changed from "Suez Canal" to "National Bank of Egypt"
SO, why that happens ? And note that this happens in "Suez Canal" Bank only and in USD-Statements Only !!
Problem 2:
It's supposed that this Subform is for entrying data, but i wonder why i can't enter or edit any data specially in Bank Account field..!! although i enabled all fields additions,Edits and everything !!
Problem 3:
I want to set the buttons on the Top right of the screen so that when i press on:
"Search" it clears all the fields in the main form and get ready for any entry then after pressing enter the Subform get the data of the new entries..
"Save" it saves all entries, edits that will happen on the Subform..
"Print" it prints ONLY the active tab in the Subform NOT the whole form with Subform..
For Decoration:
The main Form title include the Bank Name in the middle with the Bank logo which get the logo from the Banks Table, but dunno why the logo doesn't show up when i close the file and re-open it again..!!
Finally:
Wondering why i can't enter link to download file from..
