Form Captions Arbitrarily Truncated?

Hi,
I am new to Access 2010.

The 'Tabbed Documents' option for displaying Forms is ideal for one of my applications but why is it some tab captions are arbitrarily truncated?
'APPOINTMENTS' and 'POST CODES' are fine but 'DOCTORS' and 'SCHOOLS' are both truncated until you select them. WHY??

I have tried moving controls across to the right to widen those forms but that makes no difference!

I have attached a .PNG file of the tabs. Both navigation pane and property sheet are closed. The forms towards the middle of the tabs have their captions truncated.
