Form is slightly broken at start up

Hello,
I have a member's detail form that shows all the information we have on a member. At the top is the member's name set up like a title; the control source is set up as "=[GoesBy] & ' ' & [LName]". There's also a drop down that shows all the members, so you can select a member to go to. And next to the name/title is the member's number. Everytime I open the database these three areas are not working. To fix it, I have to go in to design view, go to the form's record source, click close, save the form, and then go to form view and it works.

Does anyone have any idea why it's doing this and/or how to fix it? Every time I close it, I make sure that whatever I had open has been saved, I close the database, wait a few minutes then properly remove the flash drive it's on.

Currently I just open it by double clicking the form, but once the database is all set up, it will be opened via form.

**EDIT**
I just tried to recreate the problem (close everything, take out the flash drive, reinsert flash drive, and reopen everything), and I didn't get the error. So it's something with it not being accessed for a few days. Currently I'm only working Mon & Fri, and the drive sits at my work station under the monitor when I'm not here.
