I have a db with 5 form tabs at the top. The names are General, Contact Information etc, and allthough the tabs have names the forms are quite long so when you scroll down you cannot see the tab name. What i wanted is in the form header the name of the tab to be displayed but if you just add a label it has the same label on all the tabs. Is there a way i can do this???

Pasting into one tab can be tricky if you don't know how, and it would be hard to explain. Have you thought about using the Caption of your form? Or the Status Bar text? You can change those when ever you click on the tab by using vba.

If that will work that would be great but i am not entirely sure what you mean.

Do you know where the Status Bar is located? And do you know what the caption of the form is?

i no the caption of the form but not the status bar.

When you open the form in Form view, does the caption get displayed? What's current caption of your form?

it is a tabbed form so on opening the db it opens the general tab (there are another four tabs after that) the caption is general. General is displayed only in the tab name.
