Form Letters in Word vs. Letters as Reports

I am finishing up a large project and have come to the point where I have to decide whether to generate some form letters by making templates in MS WORD, or by designing the form letter as an access report.

I'm sure there are pro's and con's to both, but I would love to have some feedback from developers who have crossed this path before.

I have always used Word for form letters. I feel that there is more flexibility with Word as far as the formatting and word processing, and merging with Access is very simple. I think the Word document looks more professional in the end than an Access Report.
