Form Location

Hi there,

Upon loading my database, I have a form that acts as sort of a switchboard to display and direct user options. On this form, I have a button which opens another form and closes the source (initial form). What I don't like is that when my new form opens, it's located someplace different (physically on the screen that is) that the one previously. Is there a way for me to control where a new form opens? As it turns out, the two forms in question are exactly the same size; hence, it would be nice if they could use the same area on the screen.

If the forms in question are pop up forms as set in the form properties, then just design them to be the same size and then set the form property 'AutoCenter' to Yes.

If the forms aren't then make them fill the screen by -

In a macro adding the line MAXIMISE

or in code -
Formname.Maximise
