Form macro to update single record not all

I'm new to forms and this is the first time building database entry form .

I have macro on form and it appends and deletes records only issue is that it's doing actions for all records instead of record that I'm on.

Do I need to modify my queries so that it prompts for record criteria? I was hoping that based on what record I was in it would do actions just for that record
