Form Opening to a New Record

Another Simple one From jeff.

Upon opening a form how do you get it to open to a new record rather hen the first record. Thanks All. Jeff

Add to your Form_OnLoad sub: DoCmd.GoToRecord , , acNewRec

empty table

I get 'runtime error" when the table is empty

Go to your forms properties and look under the Data tab. Then set the Data Entry section to Yes. Next time you open your form it should be blank ready for you to add your new data. If you change your mind and want to see your data just change "Data Entry" back to NO. Hope that's what you want.
