I’m stumped, I’ve tried to do this in so many different ways and I still can’t get it to work the way I want it. So I’m starting all over again, anew. I’m all out of idea! I need to step back and ask for help!

I have say 10 different task listed in a form. Not all tasks will be completed. On my form I have all ten task listed and when they enter the time, the specific task associated with the time would be entered in the procedure field on the table as well as the time, and two other fields in their own filed on the table. All procedures must have times associated.

Thanks

RED,

I'm perplexed, from your description, I have no idea what you
are trying to do. Can you further explain and:

Compact your db,
ZIP it,
Post it here.

Here is part of my db

Ok, this is what I’ve done. I’m self taught, you know by trial and error, mostly error.
This is one section of a multi tab sub form. As you can see it works fine to enter the info in once, but if someone comes back and hits the button again it enters all of the tasks in again. Not really what I wanted to do. I have the feeling that someone will come back after they remember something and need to add something. I have a last page, which is query of a chronological order of all the procedures they did in time order. Thank for the help!

Hi

I was trying to work out what you want and think you want to add a new record each time the accept procedure is pressed, if so you need to remove your;
Code:
DoCmd.GoToRecord , , acNewRec
from each unbound item action and replace it with the following;
Code:
Forms!frmProcedureSubFormAirway.Recordset.AddNew
With this code, it will add a new record each time the accept procedure button is pressed.

Is this what you were after.

ps. You may wish to put in a 'Close Form' command at the end of your action other wise it will sit there.

Cheers & Beers
