I am rather new to access and am currently trying to build a form with subform that tracks the activity attendance of all of our residents in our community. I have a form with a combobox that populates the ResidentID field on my subform. I want to use this subform to track all attendance for a particular resident in a day. However, the problems I am having are as follows:
1. I would like to ResidentID field to automatically input once I add a new record on the subform
2. I would like to do the same with the date field (populate the date field on my subform with what is entered on the form).
3. I would also llike to use an append querry to add the data input onto thte subform onto a preexisting table.
I am not sure how much more information you would need but I tried to attach the database but it exceeds the limit for the forum.
