form to table

I have entered a expression that calculates the total for a field in my form, but the answer in the form isn't put into the table
HELP!!!

Neil,

You're doing fine so far. The total that you put on your form
belongs "on your form". Or a report. You can calculate it
anytime. Don't try to put it in a table, it will only make life
more difficult for you trying to keep it "in synch".
