My boss has asked me to create a database whereby a person can input the type of project being undertaken and then the database gives a unique number for the documentation for the project. There will be at least 2 drop down menus as well as a text boxes. There will be various types of projects from picking from the drop down menu, each having their own particular numbering system....
Should i keep everything in one table or separate everything out...
