Form won't open Access caused MSjet35.dll error (1 Viewer)

Our database has been working fine for a long time. Now all of a sudden, one form (the most important of course) won't open. All the tables and other forms in the database open no problem. This form is a client database which combines two or three different tables giving details on the companies and people who work there. When we try to open this particular form we get the error message MSAccess caused an error in MSjet35.dll, this programme will close. We are not programmers - the database was set up several years ago by a programmer and we haven't changed anything in the commands. Can anyone tell me what has happened and how to repair? I have compacted and repaired the database, but to no avail. I am using MSAccess 97.

You can try importing the offending form and all the tables, queries, etc. associated with it into a new database. If it works then import the rest of the database. If it does not, then you will probably have to recreated the form from scratch.
