I touched something and it all went downhill from there!

Scenario:

-My home and office systems, identical and both using Netscape 4.5.

-The office system is currently showing this forum with The Thread column blank (although icons appear) and Last Post column reading something like: 02-18-2003 10:09 AM by (no poster's name shown).

-The office version is basically unusable for this forum although there've been no similar problems with other sites.

-I've cleared both the cache and the memory. Problem continues to exist.

-Have gone to vbBulletin site looking for answers, with no luck.

-Have tried opening with IE and the same problem exists.

Any thoughts appreciated.

Thanks,

Bob

Ahhh.... Ummmm.... How do things look at www.utteraccess.com?

Sorry, but I could not resist. To tell the truth I have never had a problem such as yours with this forum so I have no suggestions at all. It would appear that you cannot make any changes to the format, unlike that 'other' forum, but I just may be looking in the wrong place at this site.

I wish I had an answer other then my flippant remark, but I am sorry to say that I don't. I do hope you get it sorted as this is a terrific site...

Well Jack, thanks for your (helpful, flippant) [select one] reply! You'll be gleeful to know that out there at UtterAccess.com, everything's working just fine!

Meanwhile, back at the ranch, I've been deluged with (one) response [yours], which didn't do squat towards resolving the situation--thank you very much. Resorted to a back-channel e-mail to Jon, begging his assistance. Feel confident that, by the time I get up in the morning, he will have resolved the dilemma and a response will be awaiting me. Jon, are you out there? Jon, Jon?!

Best wishes,

Bob

Gleeful? Ummm. Well, just a little...

I hope that you get the problem here sorted out because you willl be sorely missed if you can't read and respond. We need your sense of humour and excellent answers!

Good luck Bob!

Jack
