I am using a Tab Control on a Form which consists of two pages.

The form has a 'Green' Back Colour (customer requirement) and the Pages of the Tab Control should also be 'Green' (customer requirement).

If I set the Back Style property of the Tab Control to 'Transparent' this makes the Page 'Green', ok so far. However I am left with the Tabs at the top of the Pages and the bar along the top width of the Tab Control 'Grey'.

Is there any way in which I can make it all 'Green' ?

Your comments, suggestions, ideas etc would be most welcome.

Many thanks

It appears the program gets this color from the windows property default for 3D objects. (You know, right click on the desktop, properties appearance)

Changing this property (Painful I know) is about the only way see around it.

PS Are any buttons you have on the form also the grey color?

Re: Tab Controls

Hi Dave

Many thanks for your reply. I thought that might be the case but it is always worth checking as there are so many good ideas on this forum.

I have some buttons on the form but the customer is happy for them to stay grey as it means the user can clearly see them.

There has been a thread about changing the colour of buttons which involved making a coloured label, putting it behind the button and making the button transparent. I haven't found out how to put the button over a label but when I make the button transparent it disappears totally (including the legend!!!!)

On a similar vein I tried putting a coloured (green) label over the Tab Control bar to cover the grey up. This worked well in Design View but as soon as I switched to Form View it disappeared.

I'll keep experimenting.

Cheers
