Forms And Combo Boxes

ok while i am still trying to find i thought i would post this to see if anyone knows where i can find it.
i work in a hospital clinic and i have made a database that keeps track of the patients and the doctors. now heres what i did and what i need to do

frmdoc is my form for my doctor info
frmmeds is my form for keeping up with the patients medication and this is a sub form on frmdemo which is used to obtain the patient information and i have fields where i choose which doctor the patient has. now i cascaded my fields to automaticallly fill in the 3 fields so i would only have to select the first name of the doctor to get the rest of the info. but i have other forms that get information from frmdemo. example i have frmapp that gets info for the patient to get financial help. frmdoc gets certain information that the doctor wants to see and frmnur shows certain pt information along with the doctor's name, i can not get the frmapp to retrieve the last name, first name, and such information on the doctors which are entered in frmdoc and shown in frmdemo.

I have 2 tables
tbldemo (everything but what is in tblmeds)
tblmeds

i have made a query for each of the forms i use.

so what can i do to get the infor from the tbldemo about the docs to save to the tbldemo so i can see it on the frmnurse and frmapp

do i make any sense, did i do this right at all?

i appreciate your response very much. But i dont understand something and i will try to clarify something as well

I used an autonumber in tbldoc, the last name is just a label of what i was trying to retrieve. I dont understand what storing the tbldocID in the tblDemo has to do with a query involving tblmeds with tbldoc. For what i have it seems to be working fine i just thought it would be easier for me if i cascaded a combo box containing the doctors first name and the link the doctors last name, the doctors dea # and the doctors state #. So am i suppose to make a qrydoc then a frmdoc or do i make a qrydemo that is joined by tbldemo, tbldoc and tblmeds then make my forms(frmdemo,frmdoc,frmmeds) based on qrydemo then cascade the cbodocs?
