how am i enable the main form to be auto populate when i click the access database? e.g. the main form is the login page, so when i click the access database, the login page will auto prompt (i do not need to click any form). and also, the tables will be hide from the system . pls advise, thanks.

In Access 2007 go to Options, Current Database
Display Form: Select the form to open automatically.

Otherwise make a macro to open the login form.
Call the macro autoexec.

----------

Also in Options, Current Database - Untick Display Navigation Pane box.
Users can still turn it back on.

Another way:
Put the following code in the OnLoad event sub of your login form.
It hides the Navigation Window.

DoCmd.SelectObject acTable, , True
DoCmd.RunCommand acCmdWindowHide
