Hi, all, I'm looking to get some general information and tips about Access reports. Up to this point, the majority of reporting/output has been via Excel as very few people within the company that I work for have MS Access but everyone has an Excel license. The upside to this is that I've been required to learn The Excel Object Model almost as well as Access and can pretty much seamlessly integrate the two. However, I'm going to be starting a new gig which will center around building MS Access reports, which I'm still a little light in as far as real-life experience. I've spent the last week or so familiarizing myself with the Report-Builder, using subreports, passing in arguments, ADO calls and unbound controls, etc. but I was hoping that those of you who are a bit more experienced with Reports Generation can give general tips, typical problems, things to avoid, etc. I downloaded Northwind and looked through their reports, but that stuff all seems a little simple compared to real-world problems that I typically deal with. Also, if someone has examples of some of their more complex work that they'd feel comfortable sharing, that would be a huge boon as well.
