Get date to read out as Month day, year

I can get the long date in properties and it prints out as Saturday, March 2, 2002. However all I want is March 2, 2002. How can I do this?

You can change the Long Date settings in Control Panel, Regional Settings to
MMMM dd, yyyy
This may not be suitable unless you wish your long date to remain in this format permanently.
There may be other ways...

Put this in the Format part in your text box:

mmmm dd\,yyyy

This will chang your format for the long date

Sohaila ... that is terrific!!! I changed the regional setting back in the Control Panel and used your format in the dbase.

What can I say but "thank you, thank you, thank you"!!!!!
