I got a easy table with two coloumns

to make it easy say
1 20
2 40
3 30
4 78
5 60
6 85
7 20

I want to put the number 1 - 7 over a picture and get it to look up the value in the 2nd coloumn and replace the nr with the number in the 2nd coloumn. Is this possible? I would have to manually put in where 1 - 7 is (this will be labeled ontop of a plot plan)

How about having a table with number 1-7 then JOIN the two tables, on this ID. Use the column which you would like to use.

You can do it manually by adding a code to lookup the second column using DLookup. Although I would suggest the table method as you will be able to have more flexibility.

This might be a bit to advanced for me.. I have close to non experience with access..

How would I use the 2nd table to only say that 7 is 20?
I don't want the rapport listed downwards like it is now. I want access to look and see that the numbers 2 - 3 -4 - 5 is there. And then replace those numbers with the corresponding weight

Is it possible for you to upload a Sample DB?

How to Upload a Stripped DB.

To create a Sample DB (to be uploaded for other users to examine); please follow the steps..

1. Create a backup of the file, before you proceed..
2. Delete all Forms/Queries/Reports that are not in Question (except the ones that are inter-related)
3. Delete auxiliary tables (that are hanging loose with no relationships).
4. If your table has 100,000 records, delete 99,990 records.
5. Replace the sensitive information like Telephone numbers/email with simple UPDATE queries.
6. Perform a 'Compact & Repair' it would have brought the Size down to measly KBs..
7. (If your Post count is less than 10 ZIP the file and) Upload it..

Finally, please include instructions of which Form/Query/Code we need to look at. The preferred Access version would be A2003-A2007 (.mdb files)

If you look at "Veging Query" there is two coloumns Tag and Weight.

I want to list the tag in the rapport and have the output to be the weight of corresponding tag.

All the green squares on the plot plan will be replaced by drawn squares, and then a tag number. So when I print out a report, I get that picture, with the weight inside the squares
