getting the rowsource of a table field

afternoon all

if i have a table with a (say) text field and in the table it is a combo box that takes a feed from another table...

i was wondering if it were possible to reference the table that the combo field refers to?

i've tried rummaging around the Tdef object, but source table and source field refer to the field of the table, not the table the combo looks up?

got it

tdfLoop.Fields(i).Properties("Rowsource").Value

but it doesn't allow

tdfLoop.Fields(i).Rowsource
