Hello all.

I have a strange problem with one of my reports. It is fed by a query which draws data from numerous other queries drawing data from multiple computers on the network.

The purpose of this report is to tabulate sales statistics, phone followup statistics and employee ranking for our sales staff. There are two main tables that house the data, one for sales traffic with data entered manually and one for phone traffic linked to our phone system. There are several other tables which provide various other information, the most important to this report being the salesperson table with fields for name, initials and extension.

The problem i'm running into is Ghost employees appearing, seemingly at random, on the report. Probably abt. 70% of the time the report runs without a hitch, albeit incredibly slow. On the occasion however, an employees stats will be repeated a random number of times, with the employees initials, the key in sorting the report, missing.

For example, say we have an employee named wes, whose initials are WW. For the sake of this example, lets say Wes is ranked #2 on the report. There will be repeats of Wes' individual stats in the #3 and #4 positions, with no Initials listed. The rest of the sales staff will be represented properly with the exception of their ranking being off and the totals for the store being over by twice Wes' totals.

Has anyone else run into a similar problem?

Thank you for taking the time to read my book.
