Hi:
I would like to thank the people who take the time to answer question, decipher problems and post solutions, and those who post code to help others understand Access. I have been the recipient of such help and I would like to say Thank You.
Last May I undertook to develop a means, for a client of mine, to record and reconcile sales information. Since I have been away from coding, in any form, for many years I knew I would need help. Not only would I need help with recalling the syntax but also in the organizing of the flow to go from point A to point B and to keep all the intervening steps in sync. With the help of the people on this board, I successfully delivered a working version at the end of October last year. The system has been working fairly well since then.
After the client adjusted to the new procedure and after implementing some changes they requested I am happy to say that the system is doing for them what they need it to do. The old method they were using was prone to human error and now they find that my system prevents the human error and forces them to recheck their paper work when other errors occur.
January was their first month of totally relying on my system and it worked well.
So Thank You. Without help from here I would not have accomplished what I did.
