I'm Martin, from Leicester. As I'm sure you're all aware, Leicester recently *just* lost out to Hull in an attempt to become the next UK City of Culture so, realistically, I'm only likely to treat people from London, LA, NYC, Sydney, Barcelona, Paris and Hull with any credibility...
Anyway, looking at the iconthingies on the right of this message, I've spotted something that sums up my experience not only of Access, but of working with people who need their data put into nice boxes but who generally respond to any workflow requests with "oh, I don't know... just do what you think's best, eh?"

I'm currently dipping a toe into Access 2013, with half an eye on seeing if I can eventually port my database tables over to Sharepoint, where it will hopefully be accessed by technical engineers via a simple App interface, and by commercial staff via a traditional Access front end with many more features.
My biggest problem is that I'm not a natural coder: I don't have an 'accurate' brain, I'm more of a fuzzy or creative thinker, which can be quite frustrating. So, there are often times when I know pretty much exactly what I need an interface to do, but I just can't make Access do it. Hence my registration here... :0)
