FOR IMMEDIATE PUBLICATION:
Google Inc, the search engine giant from Silicon Valley, announced today the purchase of Microsoft Access from Microsoft Corporation, headquartered in Redmond Washington.
Larry Page, CEO of Google, Inc. announced today, April 1st, 2015 the purchase of Microsoft Access from Microsoft. “We have been looking for a product we can add to our online suite of apps, and Google Access, as it will be known, complements nicely with our other products, Google Docs and Sheets. We look forward to offering our customers a wonderful platform that will allow them to easily store massive amounts of data online”, remarked Mr. Page.
For his part, Satya Nadella, CEO of Microsoft, had this to say regarding the sale, “We are sorry to see Access go, but we felt it was the right time to make the transition.”
Neither executive commented on when Google Access will be available on the Google platform, but it is expected to coincide with the summer solstice.
This popped up on my smart phone. Realizing it is April Fools Day, I don't have time to look more into it.
But, it did get my attention.
It’s April the First. April Fools’ Day. Every email, every tweet, every announcement and every conversation is viewed through the lens of suspicion today.
I can't find this anywhere else.
Did see the Google announcement that Australia is Moving, that Google Maps goes Pac Man, and the Microsoft Surface Watch

Guess I will write this up as a prank.
