Dear friends hello,

In my database there is one form which includes a incorporated Web Browser Object. On Load form i want to connect with Google Calendar in order to view or add my appointments. But, the problem is when the web browser connected with Google Calendar i'm getting a relevant message which I want to avoid altogether .. On message there are two option, the OK and Cancel. If you press OK you can only view the appointments but you cannot add new, and if you press Cancel you can do both..

Is there a way by default to be on Cancel mode without to getting this message?

Thanks in advanced

It would be nice if you could get rid of the message altogether. I get this message too when I tried it in the WebBrowser control but not when I access the Google Calendar directly with IE. This seems to imply the WebBrowser control is not using version 11. This web page says that's typical and shows a way to modify to registry to fix it.

However, when I look at my registry entries concerning this I only see AcroRd32.exe and FileMaker Pro.exe (I don't even have FileMaker anymore). I don't have the balls to add Access.exe and see what happens. Maybe you could try it and let us know what happens. I suggest making backup before modifying the registry.

Morning Steve and thank you very much,
It doesn’t work friend...! Really don’t know what can I do?
Anything else to try?

Thanks for trying that but my suggestion to add Access.exe was a brain fart. Of course the exe for Access is msaccess.exe not Access.exe. Sorry about that.

I backed up my system and went ahead and tried the procedure describe in this Web page for IE 11 and it got rid of the message on my system which is Window 7 with Access 2013 and IE Version 11.

There was a couple of things I observed when doing this. First he gives the registry key for both 32 bit and 64 bit systems. But I have Windows 7 (64 bits) and don't have the registry key for "HKLM\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\MAIN\FeatureControl\FEATURE_BROWSER_EMULATION". I did this in the 32 bit key. Secondly note that the DWord values he provides are decimal. When you edit a value in RegEdit it defaults to Hex so remember to click on the Decimal button. I suggest making sure to specify the version of IE that you actually have on your system. The About Internet Explorer has the version number.
