grabbing username

I have a Access 2000 database that people use to report problems. currently when the form opens, the user types their LAN ID in the LAN ID text box and hits enter then all the other information (phone number, date, email etc is filled in from a query). How can I get the default value of the LAN ID to be the user's lan id at login time? We're running Windows NT...so the LAN ID has to be stored somewhere and able to be called from Access right? Any ideas?? Thanks!
