Gray background with JPG

I'm trying to use a JPG image but when it prints (form or report) it's gray anywhere it should be white?

Access doesn’t work well with JPG images. Try converting it to PNG or BMP.

Yeah, tried that. Those formats are just not as crisp.

JPG is a lossy format. You’ve already lost sharpness with this format so conversion can’t restore it. However both PNG and BMP contain far more information so if you can save to that originally you will get a better image
