Hello,
I'm a Quality Manager at a small manufacturing firm that has almost no "admin" or "quality" related personnel (I'm the only quality person on staff). As a result I am very slowly progressing the processes, software, tools, methods, etc., out of paper to something else. We do have a server based ERP, and some PC's where Word, Excel, Solidworks, and other distinct s/w is used (e.g. blueprinting, machining s/w).
I have an old-school background in systems design & programming (RPG, Cobal, Access, SQL, VB), but it's been a great many years. Out of touch with current versions, rusty, etc. Never the less I'm using this as an opportunity to refresh some skills and knowledge and technique and get some work done.
I will undoubtedly be asking basic Access questions, looking to understand syntax and methods.
Thank you in advance,
Tom
