Group new entires by Week

I need to produce a report to push into Excel for manipulation.

I have a table which allows duplicate entries of the Primary key. It also has a date field for the date of entry.

I need to find only the first entry for each Primary key.

Then I need to process a report grouped by week of new entries only. To push into Excel.

I know you can do group by in a report but it will bring all entires in not just the first.

Any ideas please?

Hi Sara
You can use Aggragete finction "FIRST" in your SQL (query).
e.g.
SELECT FIRST(id_field) From TABLE
