Grouping And Sorting

i am having a little trouble with a report i am building. i have got all the correct info in the record source and when i view the record source it queries as it should.

building the report i added a group for Dates, a group for ClientDetailsID and then the details are whats left.

when i first did this it did not display all so i started to remove groups and fields. the issue lies at the date group. it doesnt show all the dates.

any ideas why. i have added 2 images. one of what the record souce displays and one that the report displays. you will notice that not all the dates are in the report.

any ideas welcome.

When you GROUP by a field, report will not show multiples of the field if the data contained in that field id the same.

If you want the same date to show more than once then you can not group by date.

Also I don't think a date or grouped field will display in a report if there is no data to display.
Reports display differently than queries.

i am aware that a report will not show multiples on Grouping. also if you look at the images you will see that the record source shows more dates. is it not the record source that the report gets its data from and just displays it in a nice way.

it wasnt that. it was a though you must not have looked at the images i provided. the two images are clearly different. the record source is what the report runs from.

if the record source shows it and the field is in the report the report should show it.
