grow on continuous form

i have a subform in continuous form format. one field on that subform can be of various lengths. how can i set that field to grow if it is longer. can i make it shrink if it is empty?

(cangrow and canshrink don't work in a form)

Yep! CanGrow/CanShrink do not work on a form. The properties are there for use if the form is printed.

is there anything that can be done? i need to size the field by the length of the field.

It's easier to use the built in Zoom box, either in the on enter or double click event of the textbox concerned

that won't work well. i have a list of notes for each member. each note is a separate record. i want the user to see all the notes as one record.
