Hello:

Does anybody know if it is possible to do a hanging indent in an Access Report? If so, how?

I am working on a report that contains numbered paragraphs inside a text box. Within each paragraphs are fields that vary in length. I would like the second line of each paragraph to line up with the first line (after the paragraph number) of that paragraph. See paragraph examples below:

1. This is a sample paragraph containining fields of varying lengths: [field1 of varying lengths] & [field2 of varying lengths] & etc..

2. This is another sample paragraph [field3 of varying lengths] & [field4 of varying lengths].

Thank you in advance.

Access has not native ability to format within a control outside the ctl formatting options.

Maybe there's an API to do it.

Why can't you use a CanGrow property for a report control? Have you tried it? Number the paragraphs [lines(?)] with a separate control and the RunningSum property.

Search this Form on "running sum" to see how it works. Someone had probably explained it in detail.
