Hi,
First, I am sorry if this is not totally clear as I have not done this to much. I upgraded their application from 2003 to 2010. However, the users are telling me that they would go to External Data --> ODBC Databases they would put in the credentials and would get a list of link tables to connect to. the back end tables that they are connecting to are Oracle tables.
When I do the same thing in 2010 I get an ODBC connection fail message, and then the link table dialog box appears but is empty; that is it should have a list of Oracle tables.
I know this may not be totally clear, but this is the best I can due. but if anyone has any questions let me know and I will do the best I can to answer it. Attached is the error message that I am getting.
