Hello! I live in Japan. I'm not a programmer. In my daily work I am using Microsoft Access for 7 years. When I was working with access 2000 (operating system Microsoft Windows 2000),it was quite easy for me to find which form is activated among a few forms appearing on my monitor.

Because after I selected red color for activated title bar through Microsoft Windows desktop property, the title bar of the activated form in my access 2000 became red.

But when I've come to use access 2010 (operating system Microsoft Windows 7) I've found the color of the activated form's title bar doesn't change.

I do want to know which form is activated for I almost use key-board.not mouse.

In some web site I found I can show in a message box the name of activated form by visual basic application writing screen.ActiveForm.name but in this case I must take actions (for example to press some keys) each time.

Default access 2010 has three color options, silver, blue and black and I tried all three colors but it was very difficult to tell which form is activated in a glance because the title bar color difference between activated form and inactivated one is small.

Another web site told me I can modify access 2010's ribbon by writing xml
sentences but I don't know how to paint activated form.

Anyone, please give me advice.

I'm using 2010, and for me the tab with the currently active form is bright orange, while the inactive ones are grey. Quite a clear difference, similar to what you had in 2000. I haven't changed any colour schemes so I assume this is the default. Unfortunately I don't know any easy way to make those tabs bigger to make it more obvious, but it seems okay already to me.

Apologies if I have misunderstood you.
