Not sure why I haven't come in sooner. I have been working with Access for several years now and loving it. The need to create a workable database to track stuff at work was what sucked me in and from that moment on, I was hooked. Still have a lot to learn but making lot's of progress.

I also do Bash scripting, a little Python, and Powershell. Other hobbies include playing drums, guitar, and believe it or not magic. Used to do magic a lot when I was younger and only occasionally dabble in it now just for fun. Oh, and I gave up hang gliding a long time ago... Long story.

I have been reading and lurking around here for long enough, time to get on board. Thanks for such a great resource.

that's a pretty clever introduction Mike. never seen that one before. unfortunately that method is not part of docmd though. welcome.
