How's everybody doing! I'm by no means an expert in Access, but do have some experience. Can do a minimal amount of VBA, but only through what I've learned from Googling. As it relates to queries, I have pretty basic knowledge of SQL. I usually learn from building the query in design view and looking at it in SQL view. I'm trying to build a database for my group that keeps track of pipeline integrity (year built, year of inspections, method of inspections, a whole mess of other information). My ultimate goal would be for the user to easily input the data and when everything is ready, generate a consolidated report with a click of a button. I've always had an interest in databases and in my current position, I have the opportunity to focus in creating one. I hope I can learn a lot from these forums!

Pipelines? Are we talking crude, refined, LNG, or all of the above - and more?
