Hello all, I am a well-seasoned "newbie" to access/VB, but had a previous avatar as a green-screen fortran guru back in the fading past. I just picked up a pearl of wisdom, towing me off the beach after 24 hours of struggling with a loooong SQL statement that CurrentDb.OpenRecordset() could not seem to digest. Kudos all around to the contributors giving a very in-depth examination of another pilgrim's similar problem, and I have joined just to say thanks.
