help finding an older thread

I have been searching for a while now on how to convert my access DB into a standalone application. I learned that there is no magical program that will do the conversion for you, but I did stumble upon a thread in this forum where the author gave basically a tuturial on how to convert using Visual Basic. I now cannot for the life of me find that thread again. Obviously if i knew the title or author I could look it up, but even my relavant searches cant find it. Does anybody recall reading this or something similar and if so can you supply the link to it? Another thing I recall about the post is that the author called upon/asked some of the MVP's of this forum to join in with their knowledge.

If you have Access 2007 there is a free Run Time download that you can use to package your DB so that it can be run on any computer regardless of the presence of Access. If you have an earlier version you require the developers kit to do this.
