I posted a question about a slow database here
http://www.access-programmers.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?p=1271729#post1271729
I haven't been able to fix the issue, and the client would also like the ability to work in the database when remote (working over VPN). When they are working over VPN the database runs extremely slow, and this was before I had the issues I posted about above.
My question is, has anyone had a setup where users would work locally on both a front-end and back-end on their machine, which would at some point, or somehow update a back-end on the server? This would give them the ability to work offline, as well as over VPN but not be extremely slow.
