Help on "Totals" function

Im doing a school project and I have to total the number of each item an employee has sold. I watched tutorials online and found I should use "total" instead of "group by". I did this, but I still have the same item more than once. I am not sure why the totals function isn't working and I was wondering if anyone had any idea?

There is no "Total" function, but you could create a Totals Query in which you would use Group By on the employee and item type, and Sum on the qty sold (as an example).
