I'm creating a personnel planning system using Access 2003. I have a form that I developedwith a subform attached to it. I have two questions:
1) I want the user to select from a drop down menu the Band (combo box). Based on Band selected the user will then select the Job Code (combo box) from a drop down menu. The ? is how do I get the Job Code to reflect only those job codes that correspond to the Band that was selected. i.e. of the 200 job codes that are available, only 5 may be relevant to Band ABC, therefore nothing else should show except for thsoe 5 job codes.
2) I have a Lookup combo box that filters on what people enter into the subform. a) how do make so that the lookup list is distinct and not repeating
b) if there are 3 inputs that match the filter choice, how do I get the navigation button to show the 3 inputs. Right now, it only lets me see the first input.
PLEASE HELP!!!!! Thanks so much.
