Hey I have an access database in a DBGrid. Is there a way of changing the colour of the required fields when data is added to the field then the next time the sheet with the DBGrid is accessed the coloured field is hidden unless a command button is clicked, which will show all of the fields and allow the user to change the colour back to the orignal.

If by DBGrid you mean Access data displayed in Datasheet View (like an Excel spreadsheet) then the anwer is no. If you use a form for data input/display then there are lots of things you can do regarding color, fonts, etc.

Is there some way that I can just hide the field once data has been added to it then?

The DBGrid is a grid in Visual Basic if thats any help

I am sorry that I cannot answer your question as I do not have or use Visual Basic. I think you would want a Visual Basic forum for an answer to that question....
