Hi all,
Just like to say I wish I had discovered this forum weeks ago, have already learnt an awful lot from the posts already.
I have been building databases, for a year or two, but I am self taught, everything from a book or the web. I have to admit that SQL is something I have no experience with, but it has become apparent, I need to get my head around it, to get the most from Access. If anyone has any suggested reads, as a good starting point, they would be gratefully accepted.
I think you could call me a "hobbyist" with Access, as I enjoy the process of building the database, often as a question from friends who will ask, "do you think you could...."
That is exactly what has recently happened, and my experiment has grown into a "labour of love" which I cannot put down.
Gary
