Hello Everybody,
I have just made the jump from power excel to access and wished i had done it years ago.

Access for me is a bit like learning to drive a car.

I can now work the controls(a bit anyway) and the next stage is to look up and plan were i am going and use all the controls to get there by the best route.

I am sure that i will always be learning from your helpful posts

Great site thank you!

Pete

Welcome Pete. Make sure to research normalization. We store things differently in a database than in a spreadsheet.

Hi Pete, welcome to AWF.

With regard to moving from Excel to MS Access I think you mat find this article of some Help:-

Excel in Access (Part 1)

I note you are in Hampshire. I'm in Berkshire, and there are a couple of other local members. We meet up occasionally to have a chat, thought I should mention it.

Cheers Tony
