Hiding Columns

I'm probably digging up an old topic, but here goes.

Is there a way to make a report behave like a datasheet and hide different columns?

For instance....I have a Purchase Order that has Costs, Retail, Received, Back Ordered, Name, Other Name etc. I need to view this information in umpteen bazillion different configurations...(ok maybe not umpteen bazillion, but a lot)

Right now, I'm making a new report for each diffent scenario. It would be a lot easier if I could have one report and just hide information that wasn't relative.

Columns can be hidden with code, recalculating left margin for lost fields who get very hairy.

Just use multiple forms.
 
Multiple reports, that is, not forms.
