Hello there,

in a table I have an employee # and a leader's Employee #
there are 4 level in hierarchy: Agent,Supervisor,Manager,Director
so the Agent's Leader_Emp_# = Supervisor,
the supervisor (who is also in the employe table) has a Leader_Emp_# which is the manager... and so on.

Result I'm looking for is:
Emp_#, Supervisor's Emp_#, Manager's Emp_#, Director Emp_#

any help would be appreciated

My first reation would be to go at it like this:

A Dept. is run by a Director. The Director of the Sales Dept. is Emp0001

Within Sales there are five Sections, each run by a Manager. Inside Sales Section is run by Manager Emp0011

Within Inside Sales there are 2 Bureaus. Calltakers Bureau is run by a Supervisor Emp0111

There are 14 calltakers. The one we are interested in is Emp1111

Therefore, a search of Emp1111 would reveal his Supervisor is Emp0111, his Manager is Emp0011 and his Director is Emp0001.
